TerraCair® must meet a stringent quality standard to ensure proper operation in the SCR system. The American Petroleum Institute (API), licenses manufacturers who can consistently meet the quality standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for diesel exhaust fluid. Only companies committed to the quality investment and processes can use the API seal. API randomly audits our processes and end user samples, providing you with further confidence that TerrCair® is the highest quality DEF you can buy. When choosing a diesel exhaust fluid look for the TerraCair® brand and the API symbol.

Brenntag's Responsible Distribution Program has been audited by third party firms and continues to be in full compliance with all aspects the NACD program. In fact several of the independent auditors used terms like "model program" and "a prevention culture" to describe our efforts.
Environment, Health and Safety
Brenntag's strong commitment to environment, health, and safety is evidenced not only by our record, but also by the efforts our employees put into managing risk, reducing exposure and eliminating accidents, as well as near misses.
We constantly train and update our employees on all aspects of chemical handling and applicable laws and regulations. As chemicals are regulated by the Department of Transportation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and the Drug Enforcement Agency, we have staff specialists to track and translate all of these program requirements.
